A successful performance

Theatre, opera, musical, concert – the organisation and handling of stage events requires diligent planning – also from the legal point of view – and well-structured contracts. It is necessary to keep a clear overview of the directly involved artists, employees and service providers, and to negotiate and acquire the rights to the underlying works in a timely manner.

We offer you a complete set of contracts for the organisation and execution of your stage event. We advise you and negotiate with the licensors or collecting societies on the acquisition of the required rights, we also advise you in matters relating to labour law and social security law (KSK, differentiation between employees and freelancers), and will be glad to assist you during the media exploitation and marketing of your event.

From our practical work:

  • Advice on a tour contract of an internationally renowned band for a series of concerts in German-speaking regions.
  • Advice, negotiation and contract drafting of the TV exploitation of a major series of live concerts.
  • Compilation and negotiation of all contracts for the first performance and medial exploitation of a classical musical with an internationally renowned orchestra (contracts with music publisher, arranger, stage design, costumes, artistic management, director, actors, conductor, etc.).
